The CEO of popular social media and social networking site Facebook on Friday overtook Warren Buffett to become the third most richest man in the world.

According to Bloombergs report, Mark Zuckerberg took over Warren Buffet as Facebook shares increased by 2.4 percent.

This past few months, the social network giants has face numerous scandals which has lead to the company falling into a stock market and lose some of its dominant position.

But now, the social network giant Facebook has turned around again and has returned to reach a maximum stock market valuation.

These changes however made a great impact to Mark Zuckerberg’s personal fortunes as he now Worth’s $81.6 billion, which is nearly $400 million more than Warren Buffett and securing him the third position in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos now holds the first position on the list with a fortune valued at 142 billion dollars and Microsoft Co-founder, Bill Gates takes the second spot with a personal fortune of 94.2 billion dollars.

Warren Buffett had dominated the top spot for several years and now lost the spot due to his several donations, primarily to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

NPower 2020 Recruitment Guidelines, Everything You Should Know

Good news to all Nigerians who have been asking when the next NPower 2020 program application will begin. The firm has announced via its social media handle that the next batch of N–Power will be open to accepting 400,000 applicants on the 26th of June which is today.

According to NPower social media handle, “This week, the N-Power portal will re-open for registration. 400,000 beneficiaries will be taken from the application pool.”

The application will be done via NPower online portal, as usual, while providing a level playing field for all applicants. The Ministry will review all submissions and publish a list of applicants that have been accepted into the program.

Those who have been accepted for the program in the past are not eligible to participate, however, those who submitted application and got rejected can reapply.

Over 450,000 Nigerians have benefited from the NPower 2020 program thus far – 200,000 from the first Batch (Batch A) which took place in September 2016 and 300,000 from Batch B which in August 2018. Now, 400,000 Nigerian will benefit from the NPower batch C 2020 recruitment.

  • N-POWER TEACH
  • N-POWER TECH HARDWARE
  • N-POWER TECH SOFTWARE

NPOWER AGRO:

The Federal Government is training qualified young Nigerians as Agriculture extension adviser in order to boost domestic production, archive self-sufficiency and diversify the economy. Qualified applicants will be engaged in a 2-year skill acquisition program while providing science and knowledge to farmers in the country to obtain the best results on farms.

Pre-requisites

  • Currently Unemployed
  • Graduate Degree (Bachelors or Higher National Diploma)
  • Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps Programme
  • Aged between 18-35

NPOWER HEALTH:

Qualified applicants will be trained to provide the following essential services:

  • Monitor health status to identify and solve community health problems.
  • Diagnose and investigate basic health problems and health hazards in individuals and the community.
  • Inform, educate, and empower people about health issues.
  • Mobilize community partnerships and action to identify and solve health problems.
  • Develop policies and plans that support individual and community health efforts.
  • Educate on laws, regulations and policies that protect health and ensure safety.
  • Link people to needed personal health services.
  • In addition, successful applicants will also benefit from a compulsory employability and entrepreneurship skills development programme.

Pre-requisites

  • Currently unemployed
  • Must be a graduate (Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma)
  • Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps Programme

  • Selection Preference Disciplines: Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND)

NPOWER TEACH:

The N-Power Teach programme volunteers will be engaged in a 2-year development program to provide basic education support in public schools in the country. They will be deployed to support teachers across Nigeria in teaching, school management and other functions within the schools.

The will help boost the youths knowledge and gained the required skills to further their path as a teacher in the future.

Pre-requisites

  • Unemployed graduates
  • Must be a graduate in any field or profession (Bachelors or Higher National Diploma)
  • Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps Programme
  • Ages 18-35

NPOWER TAX

The NPower Tax is a new program which the Federal Government seeks to encourage non-compliant and partially compliant taxpayers to come clean and declare and pay their appropriate tax due to the government.

The N-Power community tax liaison officers will have the following key responsibilities which will include answering online inquiries, customer management, creating awareness of tax compliance.

Pre-requisites

  1. Get your BVN ready.
  2. Ensure you are not an existing employee in any organization.
  3. Application is online.

Facebook has launched a new survey app called “Facebook Viewpoints” that pays you to participate in surveys. The app rewards users for helping the company change the face of technology by participating in surveys, tasks, and research.

To participate in the viewpoints survey and earn money at the same time, users will be required to create a Facebook Viewpoint account and earn points which will later be converted to the equivalent dollars.

Facebook says users will be informed of the information that will be collected, how it will be used and how many points will the user earn from that particular study.

The first available survey according to Facebook is the well-being survey, the survey which takes about 15 minutes to completed give users 1000point which is equivalent to $5 and paid into users PayPal account.

How to Participate in Facebook Viewpoints Research Survey

  1. First of, download Facebook viewpoints research app on Android here, or iOS devices.
  2. Set up your account after the installations have been completed.
  3. You’ll then be invited to join “survey programs”, the completions of which earn you points for your account. And for every 1,000 points you accumulate, Facebook will send you $5 via your PayPal account.
  4. You can exchange these points for cash sent directly to your PayPal account. For now, it is not clear what the maximum you can earn from one survey is, or how long the average program will be.

The app is only available too people in the US (18+) with a Facebook account for now and will be extended to other countries next year, the company says.
