Microsoft Merges Word, Excel And Powerpoint Apps Into One Single App
We all know Microsoft office packages to work as an individual app, Word, Excel, and Power Point, but now the tech giant as adopted WPS office style and merged it office packages into one single app.
Microsoft held its Ignite 2019 event in Florida a few days ago, where the tech giant announced a couple of new updates for its products.
Among them, the company has decided to combine Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a single app for Android and iOS users.
If you’re already familiar with WPS office app, then you know exactly what we’re talking about. This will allow smartphone users to create docs (documents), spreadsheets, PPTs (Presentations) in a single app instead of switching between the three separately.
Apart from this, the new office app will let users conduct various other tasks such as converting images into texts, sharing media between other devices, and creating and signing PDF files.
The new Microsoft Office app is available for public preview for Android users and as a beta app for iOS users. However, there is no word if Microsoft will extend the allinone feature to PCs.
